County Council automates client environment with Specops Deploy

The County Council of Västernorrland simplifies and improves its management of client environments using Specops Deploy and Specops Inventory.

The organization's approximately 6500 PCs will now be handled by a fully automated solution for software distribution and inventory. After evaluating several competing solutions The County Council of Västernorrland chose to manage deployments and inventory of applications and operating systems with solutions from Specops Software. They were chosen among others for its high degree of automation and reliability, quick Windows deployment, and taking into account simple and cost effective implementations.

The basis for the decision was also the fact that Specops solutions are fully integrated with Microsoft's platform. Because they are based on the existing infrastructure you can quickly and easily get started. In addition, no new hardware, additional consulting services or training is needed to get solutions in place. The decision to add the solution to the IT platform was taken after the products had been tested with good technical support.
