Specops Logviewer™ is a free product designed to efficiently open and monitor log files. It is integrated into Specops Deploy / OS and will automatically be used when displaying and monitoring logs from client computers that are installing operating systems.

An easier way to view your log files

However the log format supported by Specops Logviewer is that of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) which is also used by other Microsoft solutions such as SCCM. Thus the use of Specops Logviewer is not limited to Specops Deploy / OS. It can be used as a replacement for the Microsoft tool SMS Trace.

Specops Logviewer can be used to open saved log files but it can also monitor log files in real time as they are being created and display visual feedback when for example errors are encountered. The application also supports filtering and searching.

The current version is a beta and over the coming months we would really appreciate your feedback to allow us to build the best logviewer available. If you already downloaded, don´t forget to leave your feedback!
