1. When setting up Specops Password Policy you will be guided through an easy-to-use Setup Assistant.

2. First of all you will be guided through on how to setup your administration console.

3. After the administraion console is setup it is time to setup the server part of Specops Password Policy which is
a filter dll that needs to be on your Domain Controller(s).

4. The final step is optional and it is deployment of a client dll to have on each PC in your environment.
The function of the client is to report to each user during change of a password which password rules that applies to him/her.

5. Once Specops Password Policy is set up you will need to enter your license key in the domain administration tool. When this step is done you can
edit the Group Policy/Group Policies of your choice to create the password policy to make your organization more secure!

6. In order to see what password policy that affect a certain user, right click in Active Directory Users and Computers and find out.
(Please note that if you are running Specops Inventory as well as Specops Password Policy you will also get the option to click on Specops Inventory to get all
inventory data for this particular USER as well.)
