In order to install Specops Password Reset, your systems must meet the following minimum requirements.

Password Reset Server

  • Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 or higher
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

Password Reset Administrative tools

  • Windows XP or higher
  • Microsoft Management Console 3.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
  • Group Policy Management Console
  • Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in

Password Reset Web Server

  • Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 or higher
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

Specops Password Client

  • Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 6 SP1
  • Domain member
  • Supported languages are English, French, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Portugish and Swedish. If other languages are needed, please contact your reseller.
